Heartland Group Holdings Limited (Heartland) (NZX/ASX: HGH) is pleased to announce that its subsidiary Heartland Bank Limited (Heartland Bank) intends to appoint Simon Tyler as an independent non-executive director (subject to Reserve Bank of New Zealand (RBNZ) non-objection), effective on 8 November 2022, immediately following the conclusion of the 2022 Annual Shareholder Meeting.

Simon will bring to Heartland Bank’s Board his extensive banking skills. His experience spans more than 35 years with particular expertise in treasury, including holding senior treasury and financial markets roles within the National Bank of New Zealand and the RBNZ.
