Comvita announces changes to the Board of Directors

Comvita Limited (NZX:CVT) confirms today that Non-Executive Director Sarah Kennedy has resigned from the Board of Directors, effective 1 March 2023. Sarah Kennedy joined the Comvita Board in 2015 and has been integral to guiding the company through its transformation programme over the last few years as well as chairing Comvita’s Safety & Performance Committee. Comvita thanks her for her contribution and wishes her well.

Julia Hoare will join the Board, effective 1 March 2023. Ms Hoare has been appointed to the Board because of her extensive governance experience and financial acumen. Ms Hoare is a professional independent director. She is Chair of Port of Tauranga Limited, Deputy Chair of a2 Milk Company Limited and Director and Chair of the Audit & Risk Committees of Auckland International Airport Limited and Meridian Energy Limited. Ms Hoare is Chair of the Institute of Directors (IoD) Board, President of the IoD Council and a member of the Chapter Zero New Zealand Steering Committee. Ms Hoare was a partner at PwC for 20 years and is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants and a Chartered Member of the Institute of Directors.

In accordance with the Listing Rules, the Board has determined that Ms Hoare is an independent Director.
