SOUTH PORT BOARD CHAIR CONFIRMS INTENTION TO RETIRE AT AGM

26 April 2023


South Port NZ Limited Chair, Rex Chapman has confirmed his previously signalled intention to retire from the Board at the Company’s Annual Meeting on 31 October 2023.

Current Director Philip Cory-Wright will succeed Mr Chapman as Chair from that date. Mr Cory-Wright is currently the Chair of the Audit & Risk Committee and was appointed to the Board in 2010. Mr Cory-Wright is a Professional Director and Strategic Adviser based in Auckland. He is a Chartered Fellow of the Institute of Directors, the inaugural Chairman of Papa Rererangi i Puketapu Ltd (New Plymouth Airport), a Director of Matariki Forests, Te Pūtea Kāwanatanga ā-rohe (NZ Local Government Funding Agency), Powerco and NZ Windfarms Ltd. Mr Cory-Wright was previously a member of the Local Government Infrastructure Expert Advisory Group.
