INTENTION TO APPOINT NEW NON-EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR TO SKYCITY BOARD
Pursuant to NZX Listing Rule 3.20.1(a), SkyCity Entertainment Group Limited (SkyCity) advises that it intends to appoint Donna Cooper as a non-executive director to the SkyCity Board.
This appointment remains subject to approval by the regulatory authorities in each of the gaming jurisdictions in which SkyCity operates, a process which normally takes some months to conclude. SkyCity Chair, Julian Cook, commented that “Donna has extensive experience in the financial services industry, most recently as Chief Executive Officer of TSB Bank Limited where she has led the organisation through material transformation, significant regulatory uplift and growth in residential lending. She brings diverse global expertise to the SkyCity Board and experience in building and managing strategic, complex relationships in the public and private sectors. We are delighted that she has agreed to join the SkyCity Board”.
Sue Suckling will remain as a non-executive director on the SkyCity Board until all necessary regulatory approvals have been obtained in relation to Ms Cooper’s appointment and her appointment to the SkyCity Board is formalised. Ms Suckling joined the SkyCity Board in May 2011 and announced her intention to retire from the SkyCity Board in August 2022.
