ArborGen Holdings Limited (NZX: ARB) (the Company) advises that its Company Secretary and Performance Improvement Director, Sharon Ludher-Chandra, will be stepping down from her role with the Company on 31 October 2023 to pursue other opportunities, including her role with Tenon Clearwood.
Chairman of ArborGen, David Knott, commented: “Sharon has been with the Group in numerous roles including as Senior Vice President of Operational Performance and Growth of Tenon Limited, and as in-house counsel, Company Secretary and Performance Improvement Director of ArborGen Holdings. More recently, she played an integral role in the ArborGen Strategic Review process which ultimately resulted in the sale of ArborGen’s operations in Australia and New Zealand releasing necessary funds to invest in targeted growth opportunities in the US and Brazil. Sharon is a valued member of the team, and on behalf of the Board, we thank Sharon for her dedication, expertise and contributions during her time with the ArborGen Group and wish her the very best in her future endeavours.”

With the CEO transition now complete, and ArborGen’s refocussed growth strategy in place combined with a strong balance sheet, ArborGen is well positioned to achieve its growth objectives leveraging its leadership position in advanced genetics to transform forestry productivity. Sharon will remain in a consulting role to ArborGen for a period of time to ensure a smooth transition of her responsibilities.
