CHANGE OF EXTERNAL AUDITOR
Following a formal request for proposal process that was overseen by thl’s Audit & Risk Committee, thl advises that it has decided to appoint EY as the group’s new external auditor.
thl’s current external auditor, PwC, has advised that it will be resigning following the completion of certain subsidiary audit and agreed upon engagements relating to the period ended 30 June 2023. The appointment of EY will become effective following PwC’s resignation and will be in relation to the period ending 30 June 2024.
The decision to change the external auditor does not reflect adversely on PwC and thl would like to acknowledge the professionalism and service that they have received over a number of years from PwC.
