Appointment of New Chief Operating Officer

NZX-listed wool carpet manufacturer Bremworth has appointed Nicola Simpson as Chief Operating Officer (COO), as the company continues to focus on its growth programme across its domestic and international markets.

Nicola Simpson will join the company on 19 February.

In her role as COO, Nicola will have overall responsibility for all aspects of supply, planning, manufacturing, health and safety, people and sustainability to create alignment and focus and ensure our growth targets are achieved.

Nicola has previously held the position of Chief Operating Officer at Icebreaker Merino Clothing leading people and culture, sustainability, supply chain and manufacturing. In this role, she led the re-engineering of Icebreaker’s global supply chain while also establishing the world’s first 10-year merino grower contracts. She also spent a year leading the Merino European commercial business based out of Munich.

Nicola’s more recent roles included Chief People Officer at TVNZ and GM, Group People & Performance at Fletcher Building.
