TradeWindow gains 26 more Freight Forwarders with IFCBAA Partnership

TradeWindow (NZX: TWL), a global trade software company, today announced a new partnership with the Sydney based, International Forwarders and Customs Brokers Association of Australia (IFCBAA), a peak national body, representing members interests in international trade logistics and supply chain management service provision.

The partnership will see TradeWindow provide IFCBAA members with special rates for TradeWindow’s new Tariff Service, an online cross-border compliance tool that allows users to find all relevant information on tariffs and search and validate commodity classifications, duty rates, and other regulatory notices. The solution has the potential to be localised and expanded to more markets, including New Zealand.

The partnership and tariff solution goes live today, 01 August 2024. It will immediately lift TradeWindow’s contracted customer count, with 26 IFCBAA members having already registered for the service. These additions take TradeWindow to 541 customers.
TradeWindow Executive Director and CEO AJ Smith said: “We are delighted to have established what we expect to be an enduring partnership with IFCBAA and its members. We recognise the importance of the tariff service to its members and the crucial role it plays in facilitating trade compliance and supporting IFCBAA members’ operations.

“We also see opportunities to introduce IFCBAA members to TradeWindow’s broader suite of digital trade information services and the productivity benefits they offer.”

IFCBAA CEO Scott Carson said: “Through this initiative, TradeWindow brings advanced technology, expertise, competitive pricing, around-the-clock technology and customer support - all of which existing IFCBAA Tariff users will directly benefit from. This transition will also allow IFCBAA to continue its focus on providing members with core services centred around member and industry training, continued professional development, advocacy services, networking events and its work towards addressing the current industry skills shortage.”
