Stride Property Limited (SPL) and Stride Investment Management Limited (SIML) advise that Director Jacqueline Cheyne will retire from the Boards of SPL and SIML, with effect from 30 November 2024.
Jacqueline has been a Director of Stride for over five years, and Chair of the Stride Sustainability Committee since its establishment in 2020. Jacqueline has led the development of Stride’s sustainability strategy and oversaw the completion of Stride’s first mandatory climate report in 2024.
Chair Tim Storey commented “We are very grateful for the dedicated service of Jackie Cheyne during her tenure as a director of Stride. Jackie has been instrumental in developing Stride’s sustainability strategy, and we wish her well in her future endeavours.”
The Board will now undertake a process to appoint a new Director to ensure the Boards continue to have the required skills to deliver on Stride’s funds management and property investment strategy.
Following the resignation of Jacqueline Cheyne, the Boards of SPL and SIML have elected to dis-establish the Sustainability Committee of the Boards, with the Audit and Risk Committee assuming responsibility for oversight of Stride’s sustainability activities and climate risks. The Stride Boards consider that having a single Committee oversee Stride’s management of risk, both climate and business risks, will ensure an appropriate and consistent approach to risk management.
