The Colonial Motor Company Limited has announced the retirement of Stuart Gibbons from his position of Group Manager: Strategic Development with effect from 31 December 2024.
While stepping away from his executive roll, Stuart will continue as a Director of the Company. As required, he will also provide support to the Group Office management team on special projects in the first half of 2025.
Stuart has been with the CMC Group since 1982, holding various positions at a number of subsidiary company dealerships across the country. The most recent was as CEO/Dealer Principal at Lower Hutt from 2002 until he joined the Group Office management team in July 2020.
Chair, Ash Waugh, thanked Stuart and recognised his contribution to CMC’s success over more than 40 years of service as an executive and his ongoing contribution as a Director.
