Data Security Incident

Mainfreight Limited has incurred a data security incident that targeted a non-production system. The compromised files included personal details of 75 individuals.

As soon as we became aware of this incident, we took immediate steps to rebuild the affected server and can confirm all systems are now secure. The wider IT environment, including trading and operating systems, are not impacted by this incident. Since this time, we have been working closely with our external IT and Cyber Security partners to fully investigate the circumstances of the incident. This includes adding further data protection and monitoring.

Mainfreight has notified the affected individuals and the relevant privacy authorities accordingly.
