Bremworth Limited (NZX: BRW) advises that Nicola Simpson has resigned from her role as Chief Operating Officer effective Thursday, 22 May 2025.

During her tenure, Simpson led Bremworth’s manufacturing teams in the rebuild of inventory post the devastation of its Napier yarn spinning plant due to Cyclone Gabrielle.

Simpson also led people and culture initiatives in her role as COO – leading to increased focus on health and safety and enhanced partnerships with the union.

In acknowledging the work Simpson undertook, Rob Hewett, Bremworth’s Chair, said “Nicola has led the rebuilding of inventory levels through its hybrid supply chain, ensuring availability of Bremworth’s wool carpets and rugs for customers. The work she has done will enable us to further explore how we invest in our manufacturing facilities and enhance our people’s capability to produce world leading products”.
