Napier Port (NZX.NPH) today announced the appointment of Hamish Stevens as Independent Director effective 12 August 2025.
Chair Blair O’Keeffe said “We are delighted to welcome Hamish to Napier Port’s Board of Directors. With senior executive experience and a diverse governance career spanning a wide range of sectors, Hamish’s expertise and skills will be highly valuable and complement our current board composition.”
Hamish is currently Chair of Pharmaco Ltd, Embark Early Education Ltd, and East Health Services Ltd. He is Director and Chair of Audit Committee at Counties Energy Ltd, and Director and Chair of Audit and Risk Committee at Radius Residential Care Ltd.
He has previously held governance roles at Marsden Maritime Holdings Ltd (Director, Chair of Audit and Risk Committee), Pacific Radiology Group Ltd (Independent Director, Chair of Audit and Risk Committee), Restaurant Brands Ltd (Director, Chair of Audit and Risk Committee), Waikato Regional Council Audit and Risk Committee (Independent Chair), AsureQuality Ltd (Director, Chair of Audit and Risk Committee), DTS Food Assurance Ltd (Chair), and Smart Environmental Ltd (Director, Chair of Audit Committee).
Hamish shall retire and seek election at the next Annual Shareholders’ Meeting in December 2025. It is anticipated he will assume the role of Chair of Audit and Risk Management Committee in December 2025, upon Independent Director and current Chair of Audit and Risk Management Committee, Stephen Moir, not seeking re-election at the Annual Shareholders’ Meeting, as advised to the market on 20 May 2025.
