  • Appointed on 10 September 2018, after being made chief of Air Force in March 2016.
  • Command and staff appointments include commanding officer No 40 Squadron, officer commanding 485 Wing, assistant chief of Air Force capability, assistant chief strategic commitments and intelligence, and air component commander at headquarters Joint Forces NZ.
  • Made a member of the New Zealand Order of Merit for role in 1998 mid-winter rescue from McMurdo Station, Antarctica.
  • Graduate of the USAF air command and staff course and the Royal College of Defence Studies.
