ASB Bank's chief executive is walking a fine line between crowing about how many first-home buyers it helped in the second half of 2020 while stressing her bank had tried to "moderate" the raging housing market by demanding greater deposits of investors.But ASB grabbed a greater share of the mortgage market with its lending growing faster than bank lending overall.In presenting her bank's first-half results, Vittoria Shortt emphasised that the bank provided loans to 7,500 first-home buyers in the six months ended December.But...
