The ASB Showgrounds went into liquidation on June 22 owing more than $4.8 million, the first liquidator's report shows.Liquidator Paul Vlasic of Rodgers Reidy said the showground's custodians, the Auckland Agricultural Pastoral and Industrial Shows Board, had incurred "significant losses" as a result of covid trading restrictions as it was unable to operate at anything other than alert level 1. That was compounded by the lease between the board and the Cornwall Park Trust Board (CPTB).
