Commerce Commission files injunction to stop Platinum Equity buying OfficeMax

The transaction is part of a larger deal announced by Platinum Equity in April to acquire the OfficeMax business in Australia and New Zealand from Nasdaq-listed Office Depot, subject to regulatory approvals.
