Top of Northland moving to alert level 3

Covid response minister Chris Hipkins announced the northern part of Northland will move to alert level 3 at 11.59pm on Tuesday.This comes as the Ministry of Health cannot directly link a new case of covid in Taipa to the rest of the outbreak amid fears of undetected community transmission in the region.The region previously moved out of alert level 3 on Oct 19 to level 2.Earlier on Tuesday, it was announced that there were 126 new cases of covid in the community: 107 in Auckland, 18 in Waikato and one in Northland.While Waikato moves to alert...
