Fabric retailer Arthur Toye closing its doors after 75 years
By Tina Morrison Nov 1 (BusinessDesk) – Arthur Toye Fabrics is closing down after 75 years of fabric retailing in New Zealand, selling the last of its stock at half price at its remaining three North Island stores. The Gisborne-based business announced the closure in an email to customers. The company closed its Wairau Park, Auckland, store in September after more than 20 years, and is now shutting its remaining Wellington, Palmerston North and Gisborne stores, according to the emails.
