'Difficult decision' to close NZ operations for Verizon Connect

Verizon Connect has begun to explore closing its New Zealand operations. Formerly Telogis, the fleet-management software company based in Christchurch, has around 120 employees. The company was profitable, with revenue of $35.7 million and profit of $3.7m for the year ended Dec 31 2023, up from $1.8m the year prior.
