Kiwibank says it is unlikely to be able to meet the Commerce Commission's recommended deadline for open banking.In the commission’s report on personal banking, a major recommendation was accelerating the rollout and adoption of open banking so it is “fully operational” by June 2026.Open banking allows customers to securely share prescribed details about their bank accounts with other financial service providers.But Kiwibank said in a submission on the draft decision in April that while it supports open banking, it would pr...
