Geneva Finance lifts annual profit 45% on increased lending, rising premiums

By Rebecca Howard May 5 (BusinessDesk) - Geneva Finance lifted its full-year profit by 45 percent on increased lending and higher premium income from its insurance business. The Auckland-based company, which provides finance and financial services to the consumer and small-to-medium business markets, said net profit rose to $5.1 million in the 12 months ended March 31, with revenue from ordinary activities up 22 percent.
