Google has opened its first dedicated cloud interconnect location in New Zealand.The physical infrastructure will allow Google Cloud customers to transfer data between their on-premises networks and Google’s virtual private cloud networks.The company said the opening of the Auckland location, which provides a direct physical connection between the networks to improve performance and availability, was spurred by local demand. “Our dedicated cloud interconnect in Auckland will hardwire New Zealand into our global infrastructure b...
