Minister for Rail Winston Peters has appointed Chris Mackenzie to chair a new company being set up to procure replacement Cook Strait ferries.Peters and Finance Minister Nicola Willis announced on Dec 11 last year that the Government was setting up Ferry Holdings Limited as a Schedule 4a company under the Public Finance Act.Ferry Holdings Limited has yet to be scheduled in the act or incorporated on the New Zealand Companies Office; however, the name has been reserved.On Monday afternoon, Peters announced Mackenzie as the new chair, H...
