Auckland Council will have to make decisions on upzoning and enabling extra development capacity in the central city by May 30.Housing Minister Chris Bishop wrote to Auckland Mayor Wayne Brown on March 12, saying the Government was amending its direction on Plan Change 78 (PC78) to allow for early decisions on the central city components of the plan.
