Global logistics company DHL Express is investing $42 million in a new Christchurch processing facility – its biggest investment to date in New Zealand.DHL said the 8,500 square metre site, due to open in 2026, will bring its existing service point and gateway facilities at the airport under one roof.The company said the development will have a line sorter conveyor system capable of processing up to 6,500 parcels per hour (PPH) for inbound shipments and 5,600 PPH for outbound shipments.The $42m investment is over a 10-year period.'Sig...
