Auckland Transport has suffered a setback in its plans to improve ferry services to Beachlands, the suburb where the New Zealand Superannuation Fund has invested in a planned multi-billion-dollar development with thousands of homes.This year, a panel of independent commissioners approved a private plan change sought by Beachlands South Limited Partnership to rezone 307 hectares south of the township from rural-zoned land to a mix of live and future urban zoning.The development, which is expected to provide around 3,000 homes over the next 15-20...
