Transpower chair Keith Turner says he will stay in the role until next May to smooth the transition of the state-owned enterprise’s incoming chief executive and see more progress on other issues.Turner said as a long-term infrastructure business it had to ensure there was long-term leadership. His term expired on Oct 31 and the Government recently announced the future of other board members’ terms expiring on that date had been decided.
