Port of Auckland has secured the first draft approvals via the Fast-track Approvals Act for a major infrastructure project to futureproof its operations. The expert panel considering the project – to extend the northern berth at the Fergusson container terminal by 45m and add a new 330m wharf to the Bledisloe terminal – issued its draft decision approving the consents on Friday.Approved submitters have until Aug 15 to provide feedback on the draft conditions, which cover everything from construction noise through to how to hand...
