Summerset Group's build progamme has been slowed by the coronavirus crisis but one side effect is that tradies are cutting their prices by anywhere between 3 percent and 12 percent. Chief executive Julian Cook said what is likely to happen to construction costs going forward "is a bit of an unknown," although per square metre costs haven't changed much. "We're certainly seeing price reductions in tenders we're running at the moment of anywhere from 3 percent to 12 percent on what we were expecting," Cook told analysts on a conference call...
