Kathmandu lifts 1H profit 14% on fatter margins, tax adjustment

By Paul McBeth March 26 (BusinessDesk) - Kathmandu Holdings lifted first-half profit as expanding margins and a one-time tax adjustment bolstered extra sales from its recently acquired North American Oboz Footwear business.  Net profit rose to $14 million in the six months ended Jan. 31 from $12.3 million a year earlier.
