WorkSafe has rightly put school boards of trustees on notice that it is incumbent on them to have systems in place to ensure students are kept safe when participating in education outside the classroom. WorkSafe has charged the Whangārei Boys' High School board of trustees for multiple alleged health and safety failures relating to the tragic death of a student a year ago.
