F&P Healthcare beats guidance as covid demand drives sales growth

Fisher & Paykel Healthcare beat its earnings guidance, reporting a 37 percent lift in annual profit as demand for its products to treat covid-19 patients soared. Operating revenue was $1.26 billion in the 12 months ended March 31, up 18 percent on the year and 14 percent on a constant currency basis, which removes the impact of exchange rate movements. Net profit was a record $287.3 million, up from $209.2 million a year earlier.
