Manufacturing data more evidence of economic recovery

Today’s manufacturing data provides more evidence the economy isn’t heading for a meltdown.The BNZ-BusinessNZ Performance of Manufacturing Index lifted to 54.0 from 51.0 in August. It was the fourth consecutive month above the 50 mark – indicating growth – and pushed above the long-term average of 53.
