Christchurch-founded Active Refrigeration closes out Direct Capital's sixth fund

Direct Capital has made its final investment in its sixth fund, into a Christchurch-founded commercial and industrial refrigeration firm. Direct Capital said on Monday it had invested in Active Refrigeration Group, founded by Craig Duff and Graeme Green in December 1999. It is the final investment for the private investor’s Direct Capital VI fund, which raised $425 million in March 2020. Documents uploaded to the Companies Office showed Direct Capital now holds 47.83% of the company through a new holding company.
