The Commerce Commission has pushed back a decision on New Zealand Exchange-listed Contact’s bid to takeover fellow NZX-listed Manawa Energy until the end of March.A decision was due on Dec 24, and the Commerce Commission (ComCom) said Contact agreed to the extension.The competition regulator said it will release a Statement of Issues soon.This would outline the potential competition issues with the proposed acquisition following the commission’s initial investigation.
