Comvita ups earnings guidance

Comvita's David Banfield has led a cost cutting programme.

Honey producer Comvita has improved its full-year earnings guidance from between $20 million to $23m to $22.5m-to-$25.5m.The company said the increase, for the 12 months ended June 2021, was due to “ongoing strong growth” in China and North America, strong digital sales and continued efficiencies in production and cost controls.In the 12 months ended June 2020, underlying earnings before interest, tax depreciation and amortisation came in at $19.1m.Online sales now make up 30% of group sales, the company said in an NZX update.Group...
