The latest Government data has confirmed a significant rise in gas prices of between 12% and 20%.The Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment’s (MBIE) latest energy data for the three months ending March 2025 said natural gas prices rose across all sectors.After adjusting for inflation, residential gas prices increased by 18.5%, commercial prices by 20.5%, industrial prices by 14.9%, and wholesale prices by 12.8%.Similar to other data sets, the MBIE series reported a 19% decrease in net gas production, with a negative stock change...
