New Zealand venture capital firm Global From Day 1 is raising $7.7 million for a “test fund” to explore investment opportunities in the emerging crypto and web 3.0 industries.The fund is currently open and seeks to raise US$5m before closing next month. GD1 said it already has commitments from investors who have backed crypto projects such as Coinbase, Anchor, and Artblocks.Vignesh Kumar, co-managing partner at GD1, said the fund was a learning opportunity the firm could use to test its “preliminary thesis” on web 3...
