Easier lockdown conditions both at home and abroad may continue to fuel local investor appetite, despite a string of weak economic data in the US. The S&P/NZX50 Index lifted 3.3 percent yesterday as a low number of new cases spurred optimism the country would further ease lockdown restrictions shortly.
