Easier lockdown conditions both at home and abroad may continue to fuel local investor appetite, despite a string of weak economic data in the US.  The S&P/NZX50 Index lifted 3.3 percent yesterday as a low number of new cases spurred optimism the country would further ease lockdown restrictions shortly. Just three new confirmed and probable cases were announced yesterday, taking New Zealand's total to 1,472, of whom 1,214 have recovered.
