MARKET OPEN: Renewed US-China tensions may keep investors subdued

Investor sentiment may remain subdued as tensions ratchet up between the US and China over the origin of covid-19, raising the prospect of a renewed trade war between the world's two biggest economies. Wall Street ended last week lower on the prospect of trade tensions between the two countries with the Dow Jones Industrial Average down 3.7 percent, the Nasdaq down 3.5 percent and the S&P 500 down 2.8 percent.
