New Zealand Exchange-listed power company Meridian has had 82 staff leave following a “reset” of its retail division.Of the 82 staff that had left, 53 would be replaced.In September, Meridian said it proposed a new way of working for staff in its retail business, including its Meridian and Powershop brands, and employed roughly 300 people.On Friday, a spokesman said while the new structure had 29 fewer roles, a total of 82 staff had left or were leaving the company via redundancy.Meridian chief customer officer Lisa Hannifin said th...
