Minister for broadcasting and media Kris Faafoi has named the nine-strong establishment board to press ahead with the merger of Television New Zealand and Radio New Zealand.Former NZ First MP Tracey Martin will chair the new board, which is tasked with overseeing the “detailed design” of the single state media entity.It follows the government’s decision in March to combine TVNZ and RNZ into a single public broadcast company under a non-profit model, a move that will redefine New Zealand’s media landscape.Martin previousl...
