High income earners most confident about employment

There was a strong lift in the Westpac McDermott Miller Employment Confidence Index in December as the economy continues to recover from the impact of covid-19. The index lifted to 97.6 in December versus 87.4 in September. However, the index remains below pre-covid levels.
