By Paul McBeth Feb. 1 (BusinessDesk) - New Zealand consumers remained reasonably upbeat as they kicked off 2019, with more people feeling optimistic about their current finances and still willing to make big-ticket purchases. The ANZ-Roy Morgan consumer confidence index dipped 0.2 of a point to 121.7 in January, marginally above its historical average.
