NZ dollar gains amid talk of staged US tax cuts, busy week for central bankers

By Jonathan Underhill Oct. 31 (BusinessDesk) - The New Zealand dollar rose in a week that features policy reviews from the Bank of Japan, Federal Reserve and Bank of England as reports of staged tax cuts in the US weighed on the greenback. The kiwi gained to 68.72 US cents as at 8am in Wellington from 68.58 cents late yesterday. The trade-weighted index rose to 72.92 from 72.78 yesterday.
