Air travel is in recovery mode around the world, with domestic activity leading the resurgence. The major players in Australia, Qantas/Jetstar and Virgin, have reported strong domestic demand, although pricing has been affected by competition. Particularly on routes where Rex, a regional carrier that has expanded its network, has put on capacity.In New Zealand, our national airline has reported strong domestic demand. It doesn’t face major competition, so its pricing will be providing reasonable yields.Similarly, airlines in the USA...
