Orion Health chief executive Ian McCrae has complained to the Auditor-General about the procurement process for software systems used to track New Zealand’s vaccinations including for covid-19.“I strongly believe that covid was simply used to circumvent proper procurement and this has cost NZ hugely,” McCrae said in a letter sent today to John Ryan, the Auditor-General.McCrae first raised his concerns over the procurement procedure with BusinessDesk last month and condemned the $38 million the government allocated to update it...
