The Government has unveiled a suite of changes designed to make it easier for Community Housing Providers to deliver social housing.Housing Minister Chris Bishop announced the changes at the annual meeting of the sector group Community Housing Aotearoa on Tuesday, saying he wanted to level the playing field between Community Housing Providers (CHPs) and Kāinga Ora.“The days of the state preferring its own entity are over,” he said.The announcement came a day after the non-profit organisation Community Finance launched the Community...
