The government is pressing ahead with plans to merge its radio and television assets into "a new public media entity as an independent multiple-platform, multi-media operation."Broadcasting Minister Kris Faafoi announced that accounting and consulting firm PwC will lead work on the business case that the Cabinet will need to see to assess how and whether such a new entity can be made viable.
